ITEN and the Research Innovation Group in the Office of the Vice President for Research at Saint Louis University are excited to announce their new partnership aimed at enhancing and broadening services for the tech startup companies and innovators they serve.

Lindenwood University’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts will host an International Poster Design exhibition featuring the work of Polish artist Kaja Renkas and her colleagues, Katarzyna Kroczek-Wasinska and Malgorzata Luczczak, from Oct. 7 to Nov. 8, 2019, in the center’s Boyle Family Gallery.

Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., is entering into a partnership with Wiley Education Services, a division of Wiley (NYSE:JWa) (NYSE:JWb) to market and recruit students for its online degree programs. The partnership will increase focus on expanding and growing enrollment in online degree offerings at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

The fall 2019 semester at Lindenwood University has begun with more than 1,200 first-time students, continuing an upward trend going back to the fall 2018 semester at the St. Charles-based university. The first-time student group included traditional freshmen and transfer, international, and online students.

Dr. Jessica Randolph has been appointed director of general education assessment with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, starting this fall semester. This is a half-time appointment that allows Randolph to fulfill her faculty and other administrative duties in the School of Health Sciences. In her new role, Randolph will provide leadership for general education assessment by overseeing the assessment process, coordinating with colleagues across the institution, and exploring opportunities to use assessment data for continuous improvement.

St. Louis Cardinals television play-by-play announcer and Lindenwood alumnus Dan McLaughlin was recently featured in an interview-style article in the Sporting News. In the article, he states that his time at Lindenwood allowed him to immerse himself in broadcasting and prepare for his career.

Children’s book author Danual Berkley will speak about his journey as a writer and his work in self-publishing from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, in Harmon Hall Room 136 on Lindenwood’s St. Charles campus. The event--which is part of the Lindenwood University MFA in Writing program Craft Talk series--is free and open to the public.

Researchers in the Exercise and Performance Nutrition Laboratory at Lindenwood University’s School of Health Sciences recently published a study in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. The study outlined the body composition status of female rugby players.

The Lindenwood University School of Education recently hosted the fall Triad Training on Aug. 10 for teacher candidates, local teachers, and Lindenwood supervisors.

Lindenwood University’s MFA in Writing program has recently been recognized by two ranking agencies.
